the above post from the wording looks like it is mainly collected from my site... www.magicconventionguide.com

I'm quite happy for quotes to be taken from the site but in fairness to our advertisers we do ask that full articles not be taken, and part quotes be linked back to the site..

This si detailed on our site: http://www.magicconventionguide.com/disclaimer/

A lot of work has been put into the site from many people to produce a quality resource for magicians. You may not re-use any of the photos on this site without prior consent, you may not ‘hotlink’ or link images hosted here to other sites. You MAY take a summary of the article (one paragraph no longer that 10-12 lines) for inclusion on other sites, providing full credit is given to the author and ‘www.MagicConventionGuide.com’ along with a link back to the full URL of the article. We would also appreciate a email to advise us of the link.

We work very hard with conventions to make sure that the information is up to date, and yes we are releasing the names of all the internationa 2008 artists over the next few months. The competition to win free regristration is a fantastic offer from international. If you enter please let them know you saw the information on the magic convention guide.

for all the latest information on the convention you can look at the following address: http://www.magicconventionguide.com/tag ... tion-2008/

this will show you all the latest information for that event. We list as many conventions and news as we can. We also provide hotel listing and booking features, guides and information on the conventions. please submit anything you think might be of use to others as well...

the site costs us money to run, which I absorb myself, we donate ALL (100%) of all money made from advertising or listings to the HCMS in Reading, and the CARC (conjuring arts research center) in New York.

we will be interviewing the artists at international as well, and have a number of exciting interviews coming up over the next few months.

Please help us make the site a success...

having just spoken to mandrake, I'd like to offer to allow the following...

I'm happy for any content from www.magicconventionguide.com (except images) to be published here providing there is a link back to the source to read the fuller article or info.

pulling traffic and readers back to MCG since I've taken over it is a hard and difficult job, and I just want to be sure that at least some readership goes back there...

gunnarkr, thank you for taking the time to report on the info from International, I've popped you a PM as well..

there are some fantastic names lined up for International this year, including as gunnarkr said.. the big surprise guest... :)

www.MagicConventionGuide.com will be running a number of podcasts this month in the run up to the 37th International Magic Convention..

The first of these is with talent booker, Noel Britten.

He took time out to talk with us about the convention, and some of the highlights of this years event, including the acts that will be appearing that haven’t been announced…

Listen to the full podcast here:

http://www.magicconventionguide.com/200 ... l-britten/

also check back as we interview a number of the artists lined up for this years convention...

We've just finished our interview with Rafael, who will be appearing at the International Magic Convention this year.

We talk to him about how he got started in magic, his career, a close call with a water cell escape, his acts, and the new - never seen before acts he'll premier at International this year (including a quick change act)

The podcast can be found on iTunes (search for Magic Convention Guide) or directly on the site at:
