Olympic Gold Magic

Postby taffy » Aug 26th, '08, 16:36

Hi Guys,

I have been asked today to perform my close up magic tonight for double Olympic Gold winner, Rebecca Adlington at the VIP party, after her open top bus parade through out Mansfield.

Cheers Replicant,

I will perform my usual standard routine. I don't really use gimmicks or props, just sleight of hand. I'll see what the atmosphere is like and take it from there, I usually do things like card to shoe, spectators pocket, coin and card under watch and a bit of watch setaling too!

I'd love to steal her medals, hopefully I'll get to see them!

In all honesty Chris, the real answer is I've been a working pro for several years, and have landed a lot of high profile events, with each resulting in further high profile bookings, and so on and so on.
Also a lot of hard work and dedication!

Cheers Lindz and Alchemist.

It was a great night, and she really is like what all the reports say, very down to earth and extremely likeable.

I had a great time performing and everyone was in high spirits which resulted in a fantastic atmosphere.

If I can figure it out I'll try and post some pictures of the evening later on today!

Saw her preparing for the open top bus tour on the evening news. They were tipping her for sports personality of the year. Glad it went well.
