I cleaned out my magic trunk the other day, I found several buckets of c*** (not the best) and I also found a shoe box and another box of cards. Hundreds of dollars of cards all gone. Here's the link, keep in mind the center is about six inches high.

Some of you might have this amount also but, it just shocked me what I found.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Still a huge waste. Not spreading or being dirty doesn't stop them being perfect for practising passes and steals.

I still practiced that with them I just didn't perform with them.

I agree it's a huge waste hence the name of the video, but I didn't realize how much they've been piling up.

Recycle them after practicing TnR effects, might as well.

I used up an old worn deck practicing a certain card fold.

Dirty, damaged, soaked then dried out, didn't matter - they still folded the same.

I was about to post a topic about this when I found this one.

How long does a deck of cards last you?

I've been practicing with my bikey seconds and with all the flexing, etc, they've lost their perfect shape. One particular card has a slight kink in it meaning you can always cut the deck at that card (perhaps one to keep in mind there  ).

I opened a fresh pack of regular bikes and they were perfect and crisp. They were uniform in shape and condition and slid off of each other nicely (yes, bingo), unlike the seconds which are now saggy and can occasionally behave in ways you don't expect.
Do they not really last too long with regular use? Is that why they're often available in bricks?

They're so many things that can affect the cards. I walked into a pub with Michael Vincent and he immeadiatly started bending his cards, saying the aircon would affect them.

If you bend them( ) to there normalish shape every time you handle them, they will last a lot longer. Clean hands helps as well!

My big practice thing that wore them out was springing the cards and some of those decks I placed in there and forgot about and they built up.
