A somewhat unusual post (and pointless too I guess), but I'm bored at work, and was wondering the following:

If you all could only perform ONE card trick for the rest of your lives......which would it be, and why?

I guess I'd have to go with the ACR as it's one of so few I'm comfortable with (and I guess you could fit in just about every sleight you wanted to).

I'd come up with a marathon trick that included my entire repertoire as a single effect - that way I could sneakily still do everything but it would be classed as one huge single trick

3 card monte. I'm kinda embarrased about my originality (or lack of it), but it has a great plot and is such a joy to perform, and my spectators love it, too.

It unites everything spectators love: heavy involvement of the audience, humor, embedded in a great story, gambling with real money (if you want) and a steady climax ending in an effect which seems completely impossible.
