There's just something about the schedule that makes me think that this isn't organised by people that know how to put on a magic event.

Apart from Max Maven there's no other artists mentionned anywhere and in the Bazaar section, there's a nice photo of Henry Evans but you get the impression that whoever put the site up doesn't realise who he is.

I'm suspicious about this event

I suppose it could just be a first time event for the organisers but to describe it as "the most spectacular Magic Festival on Earth" is pushing the hyperbole to the max! By the look of the background in that photo of Henry Evans, it was taken at Blackpool....

Guys there is a huge magic and mentalism community in Indonesia and Singapore. They love magic over there.

I've not been to the festival on Bali, and I'm sure it's no Blackpool, but I can tell you Bali is the most beautiful tropical island.

This is the same person who's been spamming me over email.

Well, I've just had email confirmation from Max Maven himself that he IS indeed booked to appear at this event in Bali so despite my suspicions this is a legitimate event.

Have to admit to being a little over cautious
