Taking time away...

Postby Mark Waddington » Nov 20th, '08, 11:06

Hi everyone

Just wanted to make a post to say I will be taking some time away from things at the moment. Im not quitting magic... far from it actually, but im having a few problems at the moment which need a lot of attention. A few people have died recently which is taking a lot out of me, plus my neighbour is one the way out. Also, at work, the BT job cuts are causing a lot of bad feeling, the Internal politics within my office are getting too much. Also, im currently in and out of hospital having tests on my stomach, which is sapping a lot my energy, and patience.

I will still be kicking around but probably wont be as active as I used to be. I havent been particularly swift in replying to PMs recently either, so my appologies.

Anyway, hope to speak to you all in time, and if not, ill see you at Blackpool.

Mark

Take it easy fella

On the bright side, you have a job!

How can they cut your salary though?

Sounds like life is not too good at the moment, Mark. Hope things pick up for you soon. Taking some time out is probably a good thing, especially with so much going on.

My mother-in-law, together with a number of her colleagues, have recently decided to accept a pay cut in order to save a number of jobs in their office. Either they all accepted a pay cut, or they stay on their current salary and several people lose their jobs. Very grim situation to find yourself in, and like you said, at least Mark still has a job. Many people can't say the same. :(
