Postby MagicMan84 » Nov 22nd, '08, 23:20

Im kinda new to magic and forums. Just wondered if anyone had seen Magic Party last night. There was a magician called Laura London, the episode was one of the best o the series. I thought Richard Bellers was good too. Anyone thought the rest wasn't all that great?

Hi Buddy, I really enjoyed Laura's episode too. Lots of visual magic. I recommended her to be on the show and she upstages me ha ha. Thanks for the nice comments on mine too.

Salmon? Cod? No idea, but it's something fishy.

Hello. Your the Richard in the show. cool. How long have you been doing magic? I would love to do Tv, im not that good yet but it has always been my ambition. I love David blains stuff. Good luck with everything and great show.
Anyway I feel like no one else likes my topic so i'll move onto another. Does anyone know if you can just go to the magic circle or do you have to be a member?

You can watch the episode with Laura London on iPlayer HERE until the 28th November.

I thought Laura was pretty good, although I haven't seen any of the other episodes.

you online folk are so strange!!!
What is fishy about someone seeing a magic show and then talking about it on a magic forum?? You lot do think too hard about somethings. He made a comment and I replied to it. I was on the show so I think i've got every right to.

Here's hoping the next thread wont be sniggered at by members who think they know everything!!

Courtesy of www.sky.com, this evening's show is listed as:
Magic Party
10pm on BBC 2 NI
30 mins
2/6. Basketball mad Tony McGaharan celebrates his 21st birthday with unforgettable magician Pete Hathway and DJ Joe Lindsay providing tailor-made entertainment for his shindig. [S]

Richard, I think the 'problem' here was that when newcomers arrive and are full of enthusiasm about shows or products, it tends to be interpreted as a bit of engineered hype - we've seen so many examples of this over the years and we tend to be naturally suspicious! I'm sure that there's nothing untoward in this case and, now I know I can watch these programmes on TV, I'll be wrestling Mrs.M for the remote control this evening :D !
