4 On Demand

Postby russpie » Dec 16th, '08, 20:15

Hi people, I'm teaching an advertising theory module at work in January & 4 On Demand currently has the 100 Greatest TV Adverts to watch but it only has 14 days left. I was wondering if there was a way to copy or record these downloads so that I would have a copy in January.

Any help greatly appreciated.

A quick search has found that it's on youtube. If you're using firefox you can get an easy add on to download from youtube.

Cheers for that, I was after a better quality one though but that's great as a backup plan. I'll look into it, I have Firefox so will check out the add on.

Anyone else know about 4OD?

Your only solution really is to remove the DRM from the files

But that's highly illegal, so of course you don't want to do that...

There is a way to strip the DRM from 4oD downloads and it's (details deleted for legal reasons) and easy to use (so I'm told) but if you download this and use it you are breaking the law. Luckily the law is an ass ;)

You could also message the YouTube user who has uploaded it and ask if he can provide you with the original file.

Sounds like a fairly high quality copy to me.

Note from Mods: TM Policy is to not encourage any copying, even if it's broadcast material.
