Price: £2.99 Bargin at Abrakazam
Type: Sponge
Difficulty: 3
Performance time: Several Minutes can be elongated by magicians patter
Examinable: Yes
Reset Time: None Really.
What you get: Four sponge cubes and a large sponge 4.

Effect:
A spectator holds one sponge cube in his closed hand, the magician touches his hand with a coin and the cube multiplies to two. The spectator then holds the two, and another touch of the coin causes them to multiply to three. Finally the three cubes are ploainly placed in the hand, <FONT COLOR="119911">"Would you beleive there are four now"</FONT> Asks the Magician. He touches the hand with the coin and when the spectator opens his hand , he only has one but a larger one cut into the shape of a figure four.

Comments:
This is a part of a classic sponge ball routine with a twist to the end it is fun and allways raises a laugh. You will need to be able to do the standard sponge ball routines to perform this well but once practice it is a great illusion and it is very reasonably priced as it can add a good segment to your routine either as an interlude to other forms of magic or as a part of a longer sponge routine. It workes well on its own too.

Overall Rating: 8/10.

I have this trick but I dont use the supplied hexagonal sponges. I just use regular 1 1/2 inch sponges.
