Found this belt-busting recipe on another forum and felt compelled to share it...

The Most Dangerous Cake Recipe in the World

Ingredients
4 tablespoons self-raising flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil or melted butter
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug, approximately one pint capacity

Optional ingredients
Chocolate chips
Marshmallows
Nuts
Nutella spread
...or whatever you fancy!

Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil/butter and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3.5 minutes at 800 watts (high). The cake might rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (This can serve two if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are only five minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Nice one replicant! I have to say, my housemates and I can rarely wait even that long - we not infrequently watch a film with a glass of something nice and a big bowl of cake mix

I'll have to give that one ago, but I did make 6 huge meringues with jam and whipped cream last night so I'll have to eat those first. These things don't do much good for my waist line, but they are seriously yummy.

If you really want to try some adventurous cooking, try visiting the random recipe generator: http://jamesoff.net/site/fun/random-recipe-generator/

For example:

Mince Crumble
Serves 5

You will need:
    50g mince
    5 bananas
    90g iceberg lettuce

Instructions:
    pre-heat the oven to 180 C
    fry the iceberg lettuce
bring the iceberg lettuce to the boil
add one tablespoon of the iceberg lettuce
    whisk the mince
    barbeque the bananas
bake for 70 minutes and serve hot

Oh dear, this is indeed dangerous, especially as there's no weird ingredients that aren't found in the usual cupboard.

My stomach will be thanking you later!

No cocaine then? Credit crunch and all that. ;)

I might stick a marshmallow in my next one. Could be interesting.
