Where can I get Street Cups and table etc from

Postby rogerlapin » Feb 28th, '09, 23:18

I want to get hold of some Cellini / Keith Bennet Cups a leather bag and street table but not sure where to get hold of this stuff from.

I had a look at Blackpool but all I could find was some very expensive Cellini cups for £175

Anyone know where I can get 2nd hand or cheaper from?

Thanks

Roger

On the street I use the Penguin cups, which are cheap and cheerful but handle very nicely. You won't get an orange load into them, but they cost about 100 dollars.

Also, talk to Frank Starsinic from TheAmbitiousCard.com - he sells entry level pouches that handle very nicely indeed.

Tables can be made very cheaply - go to Michael Ammar's site and download his 'cheap table' plans. Build the top, and then pop down to your local cash converter and get a basic keyboard stand.

Oh, and don't come to Edinburgh - there's enough of us as it is!

Take care, Ian

Those are some damn fine cups and they certainly got me drooling.

There is a nice set on Magic Shop http://www.magicshop.co.uk/p206/Cups_and_Balls_Set_(Pro_Quality)/product_info.html, there is nothing wrong with these as a starter, the only thing I find with them is that they are a bit light for my liking however I cannot afford Cellini either so I am making do. As a aside they also sell another set identical however one cup is a chop cup if you wanted to perform that, its a good way to get into a full Cups and Balls routine.

Be careful with the chop cups, my set is nice and I am happy ( other than the poor load ) but I had to get another set of balls as the ones supplied had a special one which kept getting vanished when I did not want it to.
