quantum leap even thoe it did go to 5 series and get a finish it wasn't the finish the audiance or directors wanted but hey at least it got finished. Also American Gothic is quite good I'm only on about the 8th episode so far thoe, cant think of anymore right now.

Seconded! A very silly piece of television. Maybe the execs didn't get the irony.

I really liked carnivale that was canceled after two series just as it was getting going. I want to know what happens with the omega.

Eerie, Indiana I loved as a kid, but I'm happy enough with it as cult status kids show. It would have become repetitive if it had gone on.

I'd almost forgotten about that show. I had the same annoyance with the old Spiderman series where the last episode is Madam Webb and Spidey going to find the "real" MJ... and that's it?!

Although it's true that Angel was cancelled they were given enough time to, I think, produce a decent end rather than anything abrupt (some forgiveness there for *at least* tying up the storylines).

The dvd boxset has the script of the last episode "Reqiuem" where they do finally get a chance to go home.
Shame the show was cancelled before it was animated, You can also read it online if you google dungeons and dragons requiem it should come up

My fiancée did, but that was only because she's a big Jason Donovan fan. She's also a big 'Twin Peaks' fan (as was I, in its day). And 'Firefly'.

I quite liked the concept behind 'Demons', but it didn't work quite right on screen. It was like there were lots of little things wrong with it, and if all those minor things had been sorted out, it would have been better. Not sure it would have been great, but much better.

Incidentally, I remember 'Crime Traveller' too. I am not sure that I mourn its loss however. It was in a similar vein to 'Virtual Murder'; moderately entertaining, but not quite 'there'. (I've just Googled the latter, and found out what Nicholas Clay's character was called!)

Does anyone remember Swiss Tony? Trust BBC3 to cancel the only funny thing in their schedule at the time.

Why they never gave Garth Marenghi a second series i'll never know...especially when they produced the Dean Learner thing instead...that was very (s) hit and miss...

Same with Snuffbox on bbc3 - sometimes a little flat - but on the whole excellent...

Makes me sick, when you consider how many series there were of Red Dwarf and even Hyperdrive!

Lead Balloon has been the only recent decent series i've seen...
