Pink and Fluffy because I am no longer allergic to Peanut Butter! 3 years with a misdiagnosis... I celebrated with Reese's cups and a peanut butter sandwich! OH and some ice cream... :D

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I'm pink fluffy because I had the best ever birthday yesterday. I had a really lovely meal cooked for me (apparently men can cook when they put their minds to it, oh and pinch my Jamie Oliver cookbook) and some lovely presents one of which is a week away windsurfing in Rhodes. :D :D :D

SUPER PINK AND SUPER FLUFFY!

Not sure if I mentioned here but a couple of weeks ago I had an interview for my foundation year 1 post, for which I had to rank my preferences out of 265.

I just found out today - I got my first choice :D :D :D

Providing I pass my finals, I'll be starting in Harrogate doing paediatrics, general medicine and urology (which is more like a general surgery placement actually).

I'm so happy - it's one of the shortest commutes, one of the friendliest hospitals and generally a nice place to be.

SCORE!

moderately p&f...got the day off, some stuff has arrived in the post for me and i have a nice tasty cup of coffee by my side...

but one of my dearest friends is potentially quite ill, so its quite an odd day...yet i choose to look on the bright side, i have a JOL mini peek wallet..and my friend may not be ill, dependant on her results...

Win. Well done that man!

My thoughts are with her

Pink and fluffy because I lied, said I was ill, and now I am lying in bed, not worrying about coursework deadlines

Pretty happy because I went shoe shopping this morning and came back with some lovely, super comfortable Hush Puppies. No more aching feet after hours of ward rounds for me :D

Totally P&F today :D I just got promoted to a job I've wanted to do since I graduated 10 years ago. 3 / 4 countries later, 2 companies and 6 /7 jobs in, still not any smarter, but I finally managed to fake it good enough   I'm totally super pleased :D And my girlfriend's coming back home Monday, and I have a really cool family and great friends. I'm a happy and very lucky man :D :D

I shall re-launch Pink and Fluffy with this: I passed my motorcycle test today (Direct Access Scheme). I can now ride a motorcycle as powerful as I choose... Suzuki Hayabusa, here I come  (joke...)
