That stage set up looks amazing. I wish I had that kind of thing at my fingertips.

It's evident in everything, presentation, effect choice and stage set up, that you are influenced by Derren, but that is by no means a bad thing!

Great stuff.

Very entertaining - thanks for posting. I couldn't access the second video though.

I think Mr Brown would approve. You performed Lift pretty much exactly as Derren used to, but at least you admit it's not original. Very good stage persona, very good control of your spectators (of course I'm an amateur, so coming from me this is hardly useful or constructive, just my opinion) :)

I was amazed by the second video...any idea on where I can find the method?

oh and queen of clubs, I appreciate the comment it's good to hear people like to watch my perfromances. I always get nervous about magicians pulling my shows apart.

Richard

While trying to maintain my nose from being too brown, I have two things to say.

Firstly, they are the two most entertaining segments of magic I have seen all year, not including Derren's latest show, seriously.

Second of all, that "Peach" effect was presented perfectly. I'm with Chris, is it published anywhere?

Hehe. If you were doing card magic I could pull it apart from a magician's perspective, because that's the only genre of magic I study deeply - but when I watch mentalism it's pretty much as a layman (laywoman??!). I'm aware of how Lift is done, but only the mechanics, none of the subtleties. Your performances are very enjoyable, you should post more.

How was "I" able to figure the method out? The universe is out of balance...

It's probably much more in depth than I perceive it to be however...

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I have several ideas of how the effect could be achieved, I would of just liked to know if it was a routine of his own invention.
