Sweden Got Talent: Axel Adlercreutz & Charlie Caper

Postby TStone » Apr 12th, '09, 15:04

My young friend Axel Adlercreutz just participated in the Swedish edition of the "... Got Talent" show.

He has come up with a rather interesting one-handed knot, which can be seen in the middle of the act:

Very very nice - and the knot back into the tie was superb!

Why don't we have some talent like this entering in Britain?

Haven't Ant and Dec changed a lot

The tie knot was brilliant!

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I think if that was on Britain's got Talent, He would have been buzzed off as soon as he picked up the rings!

I do hope it wasn't a gaffed tie.... I'd love to be able to do that at work.

Perhaps your friend might be interested in publishing his method? All I could find on the interpornoweb was one-handed surgical knots, which isn't much use as I don't have any time to practice my surgery any more.

No gaffs :)
Axel did his first lecture last year, where this knot was included. I guess that he might translate the notes into English if there's enough interest for it.

that was really nice! I'm really impressed.

I'm just wondering... If your one handed knot is the highlight of your act (or what everybody's talking about), shouldn't you make your ring moves more amazing ?

Because now everybody will say 'hey remember that guy that did the thing with the tie? and ow yeah he did something with rings too"

Liked the Charlie Caper vid too. The bowtie vanish got me ! Very clever, very enjoyable!

Be sure to post any videos of these guys in further rounds!

Loved the first routine. I'm a huge fan of the LR's and this was really smooth. In my opinion it's a bit of a shame that everyone's talking about the knot  but I'm sure the audience probably hardly noticed the knot and were rightly amazed by a true classic of magic!

I saw Charlie Caper at the Street Perfomance World Championships in Dublin last year and I thought he was excellent. Hoping to see him there again this June!
