Hey...Don't get online much,or for long, so i'll keep this short and sweet.

Going to the convention next year.First time,so I'm a little nervous (for want of a better word). What should i expect apart from not winning a trip to Vegas at the c*** (not the best) table?..
I know this sounds a vague question but please reply as you may...Thanks..

Well, i went last year and it's a really good long weekend... If it's your first time the dealers hall will make your head spin, so go with what you want to but and a budget and don't get too tempted by c.u.p.s.
There are loads of quality lectures and i learnt a lot of valuable things and the close-up shows on the sunday are very good, so queue early and the Evenening shows are quality entertainment. I'm sure you know who's booked to perform and they have some big names yet again...I'm looking forward to Shoot Ogawa.
Check Out my review of last year's event (if you like)...

I am in two minds whether to attend or not

I've never been to this particular one, never seen the need to but some of the line up this year does look pretty superb.

My Q is this tho, when you go to see one of the lectures and there's like 200 peeps that would like to see it also at the same time as you, how on earth do you get to see anything?? Do they have big screens dotted around the room? :?:

May bump into some of you there or may not, depends upon how the lectures are layed out

Sometimes they have well over 1000 spectators at the lectures!

They use cameras and big screens, although this doesn't work well during the day because of the daylight coming through the skylights.

It's much easier to stay overnight.

And cheaper! Blackpool has loads of cheap accommodation - and it's off-season!
