Hi, My name's Josiah!

A little about me: I've been performing magic since I was nine, and it wasn't until about 4 or 5 years ago that I started to really develop my magical character. I've moved into mentalism, leaving behind countless gimmicks, DVDs and books that I will never use again. After a while I started to develop a sense of what magic means to me.

While I don't quite introduce myself as a mentalist, I don't exactly introduce myself as a magician either. My magical character has developed into this guy obsessed with finding a trick that will be just as impressive to him every time he performs it as it is when the audience sees it. We all know the feeling. We see a trick that blows us away, rekindles our child-like imagination and that powerful feeling of awe. Then we learn the secret. Bummer. All the magic has left, all that wonderful feeling has immediately turned into a "why didn't I think of that."

Now, my character has found the best kept secrets in magic- Not sleight of hand or smoke and mirrors, but the little subtleties that REALLY sell a trick. The subliminal communication that allows me to perform magic that doesn't happen in my hands, or in a prop on stage but in the mind.

Well that's the gist of my character as he is now. I'm currently working on perfecting everything to go pro. So.. hello from the US:D
