Boyfriends/Girlfriends

Postby hotgirl » Feb 23rd, '05, 05:20

If you want, need, or want to find in here a boyfriend or girlfriend, post it here.

By the way, a note to boys, most girls do not really like magicians as much as they would like a non-magician.

Wrong

Postby El Enielator » Feb 23rd, '05, 06:30

I am sorry to say but that is completely false,

It is just your personality and appearance. A funny guy will only add appeal with magic. ( just you cant suck)

Stereotypically some magicians arent very updated with their appearance, that is the only problem.

And this is not a dating forum so this thread will be closely monitored, if anything seems wrong it will be deleted.

Want, need, or want, need, want, or need - at least you can spell, I suppose...

Hmmmm... TalkMagic Lonely Hearts Column?

Well, Hotgirl... for your info...

During my limited experience of performing to women, ladies and girls, I can safely say that if I hadn't already been 'taken', I could possibly have made a fair few acquaintances of the fairer sex.

The odd and maligned view that magicians are geeks, weirdos and freaks is far from the truth. Yes, for sure, there is the 'mystic' and stereotyped view—but on the whole, modern magicians are young, handsome and generally quite amusing.

There ARE some odd magicians out there... but conversely, there are also some odd firemen (the ultimate female date, if you read FHM).

And here's some advice for you, Hotgirl... boys, let alone magicians, don't so much like girls who are too forward or pushy.

I don't see where this thread is headed really.

If you want a date and you are already narrowing the criteria by saying that girls don't like magicians, then why post on a magic specific forum?

The mind certainly does boggle sometimes...

hot girl I'm asumeing your a girl not a women so will not berate you, but my wife (rest in pieces) would have certainly had disagread with you regarding magicians being non atractive.

magic is a skill that requires many disiplines including precision, dedication, nimbleness, and perseverence which most dateing agencys will tell you are at the top of the list for most women seeking a man.
thease days younger women are mostly concerned with a guys wallet rather than anything else, thats not to say that this has always been true but other attributes were more important.

i myself am looking for a lady but havant gone through a dating agency because a computer is only good at matching numbers it can't deal with that x factor that makes a relationship.
it would help us if you included you age in your bio as most of us have and you may want to add something to your signature as i have then wait for the pm's to roll in.
by the way I'm still waiting :D

Have just been looking at the penguinmagic discussion board and come accross this (from the sounds of it) guy on there.
If you have access, then look in the off topic section of the discussion board and click on the thread 'boyfriends/girlfriends'.
Seems like talkmagic isn't the first to meet hotgirl.

Yes, yes...hmmm...I don't think I'm all that amusing though.
other attributes were more important.

I'll agree with you there- we need someone with the ability to set our VCRs so we can tape Eastenders.

Ok, so you can handle your small object, now, as for this large object you make disappear, would that be pizza?
We would much prefer you to produce a large object in the first place.
