I am going with the split screen idea the 39 ball does move up slightly. I think he might mention when he said about the BBC going live he says "And thats what were are doing here" and delibribtly points down to the side he is standing.
Although i will be a little disappointed if this is the way he did it it still will be a very good effect and will not be worked out by the majority of people.

Are there multiple outs or does it only work whenever those actual numbers come up on the lottery?

Also I heard you can get split-screen technology as an accessory for this effect. Do you have this too?

I am interested as he did say that everyone could do it for there friends on one advert sooooooo logically this could not involve any major camera tricks as if it does you would have to be loaded to put the effect together for your friends.

they should have got him too do it whilst standing next to the machine.
