How to do Loops with just hands

Postby JamesJoystick » Nov 2nd, '09, 07:07

I have discovered a way to do I.D. Loops with just hands. Really easy, takes about 15 seconds and you can choose the loop size.

I was wondering, are there known ways to do loops by hand or have I discovered something new?

Another question, are you interested to learn the technique? If few people are, Ill do a tutorial video on my site.

I love loops but they are too darn expensive so I had to find a way to do them otherwise. :)

Cheers,
Jose

I think penguinmagic had a I.T knot that could be done by hand called "The million dollar knot". The stealth system although brilliant wasnt a method just using ones hands

I could not find the video.

EDIT: Ah yes, I found a reference to it. One has to register to access the information. It looks like a useful technique.

Tried loops recently and have been very disappointed with the Yigal Mesika loops I bought! I got five for £8 and two have so far snapped while practicing the haunted deck effect! Very reluctant to go out with them in the real world in the near future. I will certainly persevere as I like some of the effects demonstrated on the 'Guerrila Loops' DVDs and feel I will get a good response from them in the right circumstances. Don't mind looping them myself using JamesJoystick's of someone elses method, just need them to be more robust and reliable!
Any recommendations regarding stronger elastic thread?
