My real name is ED, so i hope to see you all there. :D

It's Sod's law that I might not make it seeing as how so many are going, but judging by the pre-release interest in the electronic devices I'm launching at Tabula Mentis next weekend, I may very well need every spare minute I'm not asleep to make them.

Should be a great turn out, I've been in touch with Paul who said he's coming as well.

Tomo business is more important but hope to see you there I have some electronic questions to ask you as well as Nem.

So at least 4 new guys and a bunch of the regulars I'm really looking forward to it.

Will do another list on Thursday with an update on attendees.

I'll do my best. I may be able to pop in fore a couple of hours. It depends on whether a new stock of parts gets here on time.

And I want to bend your ear about the data protection act, as it happens :)

RESULT! I have arranged for my boys to go to their grandparents for the afternoon which means I can leave my wife shopping in Manchester while I meet up with you guys.

This hopefully means a bit more time for me and also avoids a major domestic (I'm out on a staff do the night before). Everybody's happy (except maybe my parents!).

Looking forward to it...

Eric's recovering from swine flu, and the courier delivered all my bits and bobs this morning, so I have a hot date with a soldering iron all this weekend.

I know the rest of you are probably still out there while I sit watching Merlin (for research purposes -ho ho!) but I wanted to say how much I enjoyed my few hours today.

It was great to talkmagic, pick up tips, see new effects, and get the chance to do a bit myself.

It was everything I wanted from the meet and I hope to see you all again soon.

I just made it back and I had a blast too, good to see lots of people and the new people too.

I learnt a bit, taught a bit and I hope people had fun. I know I did

December anyone ? :) I'm happy for others to suggest a date but I'll be there

As ever you were one step ahead of me, Rob.

I've a few new things but the main one I wanted to hit you with was Cataclysm, being chuffed with myself for saving pennies by just working out how it was done.

Imagine my dismay when the first thing I see you do is pull out a deck with different numbers written on the back...

Next time I'll bring a list and you can cross off all the ones you already do! There may be one or two effects left for me, eh?

had a great time and it was good to meet new people hope to see you next time around

Rob and Nem you have a lot of work to do on your pick pocketing it felt as if I had an elephants trunk dipping into my pocket but someone did manage to load it into Lynda's coat

and when most of you still had the taste of greasy burger in your mouth Lynda and I were enjoying a lovely meal in the Velvet Bar

Yup lots of work to do but I got it in the end :)

I had a great time too and managed to avoid the burgers though had a nice pizza on the way home as I was hank marvin.

Also discovered an underground rave place on the way home which I'm sure is official as the police were there. Just surprised me I walk under that bridge a lot of days and hadn't realised that went on there.

Anyway, I might even perform more magic next time, I did a lot more talking than performing, probably a good thing as the day went on

And once again, balloons are the hero of the day

Agreed, was a good day, and it was nice to meet the new chaps and people I haven't seen in a while. And it's great to finally have coinvexed! ;)

I'm glad I left before the pickpocketing started. Or did I? I'm sure I had a watch before I left my house in the morning... I'm looking at you, Kris!
