hi all,
i will be paying my first visit to the next blackpool convention. i`ve been interested and performing magic for years... so i guess its about time. i just dont know many like minded people that well....

do i need to start looking at tickets now or do i have some time. what do people reccommend.

also, i may be coming alone, and was wondering if there are a group of people on here who meet and if i can join you?

The Andy Nyman lecture is particularly tempting!

just thought i would mention I'm going - booked in about august i think.

could possibly meet up with people if you want to, too.

looking forward to seeing david penn, andy nyman, banachek and franz harary (he's my fifth favourite magician - cus i put ranked my top ten a few weeks back).

Still holding my breath to see what South Tyneside has to offer in 2010...

Hi Magicians. Just to let you know that I have had to pull out of the Blackpool convention due to other commitments. Maybe next year.

Dang! Nyman was the big pull for me............. Oh well, at least now I can breathe a little easier whilst waiting for some money to come my way!

This is truly a great line up for 2010 convention.

I thought Jay Sankey was going to make an appearance again next year, wonder if he also has pulled out, very sad if he has but there are other great macgicians to keep me happy.

I'm going to Blackpool for the first time, very excited! Booked a cheap B&B for the 20th Feb last night. If anyone else is going on the Saturday and would like to meet up then I'd like to hear from you.

I went to my first convention last year (IBM British ring) and it was great, I certainly got a lot out of it and hope I will also get a lot from Blackpool! Plus I need lots of TM people to go so I'm not drinking alone like some sad geek that spends all his life shuffling cards in the mirror....no wait....
