Was a great weekend,

I really enjoyed meeting some new peeps, and had a lot of fun.

Great lectures, and was a great social outside of the meeting, I picked up much info.

For my money, your talk was the highlight of the day. There were many fab moments to Tabula but your warmth, humour and total lack of arrogance rocked.

I'd luv for Tabula to be a two-day event though... far too much of a squeeze and would prefer to have some time set aside for proceedings for the dealers room. I missed my lunch browsing the room and had to do 8 hours on coffee and red bull.

I think I was very slumped in my chair by the end.

I think special mention should go to Lozey. It's damned nerve wracking being up in front of that lot, especially when things go wrong, so well done. More people should do so. When I lectured, I did the Naked Coin Prediction and someone on the front row insisted on ignoring my careful force and had only a couple of shiny new coins in his hand. And David Berglas was waiting to go on after me. Nightmare!

Anyway, here are some of the few pictures I remembered to take:

Paul Brook moved in fast to claim Iain as his own on the first night. Iain doesn't seem impressed, though:

Iain, Colin McCloud, Drew McAdam (looking outraged):

The source of Drew's apparent outrage becomes clear. He's talking to Beardy!

Strike a pose, I said, and this is what they managed:

The aftermath this morning. More sinning than sinned against, Fairie and Iain pretend to be grown ups and fail by a long way:

And finally, the lovely venue:

It was indeed a good day, and I am a proud owner of one of Tomo's special gadgets.

Great meeting everyone there!

Hey Beardy! Sorry I missed giving a reading for your GF! It was all a bit chaotic at the end and wasn't even sure if you knew which pub we were at. When you hadn't turned up after an hour and a bit, I figured I must have missed you. Another time?
