Mickey Silver Coin Magician

Postby Sonny Vegas » Mar 26th, '05, 02:17

I just purchased some older tricks and a Mickey Silver coin manipulation demo came with it. There was a note on the case saying, heres some ideas for my demo and it was autographed. I found it entertaining. It was like all his out-takes and shots of his magic, sorta like a rough draft . This guy has to be one of the best coin magicians I've ever seen. Even with the slo-mode in action, I still could not see the sleight of hand. You might have heard of the human slot machine, where he pulls about 20 or so silver dollars from his mouth, ears, eyes?...complete madness.

For those of you not familiar with his work, Mickey came up with the idea of manipulating the retention of vision in an ROV vanish.

I'm still looking for his instructional DVD....if you see it,...let me know : )

Mickey's currently working on a pefpormance and instructional video. He was nice enough to send out hundreds, perhaps into a thousand of these demo dvd's just so everyone could see his stuff.

Thanks Jeff,
If you see anything about Mickey, please let me know.
I also love the tricks on your site. I just wish I did close up magic more. I'm usually on a bigger stage and all those tricks are hard to perform.

Thanks for the reply :)
