The Effect
The Practical Encyclopedia Of Magic contains 7 different types of magic (Card Magic, Dinner Table Magic, Match Magic, String Rope And Cord Magic, Mind Magic, Silk Thumble And Paper Magic, And Finnaly Money Magic) all with different Effects

Cost
I bought it for £5.00 in "The Works" but i cannot seem to find it anywhere else rather than ebay, Edit Sorry Link is Wrong, cant find new 1

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

They Varies Becasue of the tricks but i would say 1-3

Review
I Think this book is perfect for a beginner, it teaches different ways to hold the cards for different slieghts and gives information on how to do forces and false shuffles etc. the card, mind and money magic in this book i found is quite good but the dinner table tricks and the paper and thumble silk and paper magic i found not so good, the rope magic is basic, but useful for a beginner
Overall
Great beginner book 7/10

Really? When I answered your post in the Miscellaneous section titled Books, I gave you a link to the reveiw/discussion thread.

Also, (and please don't think i am having a go at you specifically), it may be worth waiting a few weeks (months) after you have actually read and digested the book before writing the review. This isn't just you, it is something many of us are guilty of (myself included). But how can you honestly give it a realistic review when you have only just purchased it?
