Tricks using a common principle

Postby Takashikun » Mar 30th, '05, 13:35

Hi all,

I fell in love with a svengali deck and am looking for some effects using the same principle....could you guys recommend me some? I've heard Mental Photography is good, but I find myself wanting for more...

There are many. Although by mentioning any by name kind of gives away the method, so isn't really fair on the people that come up with the effect, so I would prefer that no one publically posts any names here.

However - just to prove I am not just being nasty - I will pm you a few...

Might I suggest looking for a book called 50 tricks with a svengali deck?
Although who in hell's name would want 50 tricks with a svengali deck is beyond me. After the first 2, it kind of looses something when the same card turns up .

p.s mental photography is not a svengali deck. Its far more involved than that

Presumably for those audiences with very short memories?

I have a similar booklet ofering a large quantity of things to do with a TT and they're all variations on the same singular theme - do one and you've just about done the lot. :D

You could also try a mirage deck-it allows you to fan the cards and show them to be all different.
