Hi, does anyone know where I can learn this effect? Or what it is called? I saw Ed marlo perform on YouTube, absolutely brilliant.

In his spiral bound book The Cardician is the original source. I believe many of the effects from that and other books were recorded onto video under the same name. It almost definitely appears there too.

Another couple of Marlo 4 ace classics are his spectator cuts the aces (i found this on The Very Best of Randy Wakeman) and another version (i found on The Card Artistry of Andrew Wimhurst) with a similar name that employs the faro shuffle to great effect.
