Been practising my classic palm with a coin today
If its still an issue after you have been practicing yur classic palm with a coin for a year, then you might have an issue
Seriously though, there are two problems occuring.
Firstly, your obviously not allowing the coin to find the sweet spot.
This is the natural point in your palm, that an object falls to.
It may be right in the middle of your palm.
more likely or not,its a wee bit back, towards the wrist.
hold your hand palm upwards, in a relaxed a manner as possible. now look at the palm and notice where the natural hollows are, and how the muscles surround it.
this will help you identify your sweet spot.
now, ther golden rule, that you
must follow is, NEVER USE THE OTHER HAND TO PUT THE COIN IN PLACE.
Alway use the finget tips of teh hand thats palming, to place the coin in palm. This way, you will find that the tips automaticaly go to that sweet spot.
Once in there, try my favorite practicing technique.
Drink a pint from a straight sided pint glass with the coin in place.
this helps the hand palm, in a relaxed position.
Also, using the mouse on your computer whilst palming helps relax the hand.
And finaly, remember that the clasic palm is not the be all and end all of coin palms, and that the finger palm, is in fact a much more usefull way of holding a coin. Practice both the classic, and the finger palms, and get used to moving the palm from one to another. This will mean you can move the hand in a natural maner, removing the claw.
oh, almost forgot..
when you put the coin into clasic, be aware that your thumb will like as not, shoot away from your hand and stick out at an odd angle.
This is something that you should work on, to stop.
and the biggest secret to the Classic is...
NEVER LOOK AT THE DIRTY HAND, AND FORGET THAT IT'S THERE.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....
