There are many highlights in my life that would be fun to revisit, few of them having to do with magic or show biz with one particular "memory" having a lot to do with matters of the heart (someone I'm still not over 20 years after the fact).

But if it were any time and place, I think it would either be the late 1800s San Francisco or maybe the War Years 1940-45/46 in that even with all the carnage, it was the end of innocence on many levels; elegance and cruelty existed side by side (from all sides). It was likewise a time when "Class" first began its deterioration and "taste" slowly became something one knew only via their tongue. :?

My preference would be a more Jules Vernian world akin to Cpt. Nemo's world or, for that matter, working with Hellboy & Co.

I'm happy the way my life as turned out. But if I had to go back it would probably be Halloween 1984 (at least I think that was the year) I passed on an opportunity that I sometimes wonder about. But alas things are what they are and everything happens or doesn't for a reason. And like I said I'm very happy with the way things turned out. But every now and again one has to wonder.

I would definatly go back to the age of 15 and this time not in any way get involved with 'a certain person'

I would go back to eighteen and train as a chef instead of a physicist. And I would pay attention for the following few years, instead of wasting the opportunities.

But if I really had a time machine, I would have been on the march south with Scott in 1911. That's real living (despite the outcome).

On a less sentimental note, I'd also have loved to have been with Vernon and Miller when they saw Allan kennedy perform the center deal for the first time in Wichita Kansas (spelling?). What a moment that must have been...

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism
