..ofcourse I'm talking about drinking ?......God forbid am talking about magic lol. I think she would rather watch paint dry...she gets bored enough with me going "Let me try this new one out on you see if it works" without others doing it to lol ...talking about magic effects of course :P

Had a brilliant time yesterday meeting up with new and old friends and really nice to see you again Farlsborough.

Now to make it the perfect magic weekend all we need is United to beat Liverpool [Stubbins wont agree with me on that one] and Blackburn to win against Chelsea.

Hope to see you all next month

B*gger that, im working today and that damned bar is always 5 times busier when united win. I shall be focussing all my damn psychic abilities on that screen to make them lose, hell i really only have to work on one player. :)

Had a fantastic time last night, thanks guys, great to see you all again.

Good to meet Magicant, and sorry for not getting to chat more - next time! (I realise I probably seemed like a grumpy g*t at the end of the evening - I've had a killer week and by the time we got to Label I was dozing off, sorry!)

Didn't do much performing for the public but was really useful to be able to show some of the old hands the routines I'm working on for my grand return to magic, and get some useful feedback and encouragement.

Big thanks have to go to Agecroft who not only provided a luxury floor to sleep on but helped me out as I'd left my wallet at Leeds station ticket desk! (Got it back thankfully, although the b*ggers charge you £5 for the privilege :x ) Cheers mate :)

Anyway, I make this solemn vow before you all: it will not be 2011 when I next make it to Manchester

A fun time had by all.

I missed Kro but (thanks Agecroft) I caught up later...
Font was brilliant - it seemed like all the punters approached were pretty open to it and loving what they saw. I was (of course) feeling outclassed and so resorted to telling people I don't do magic tricks and "I've only met them tonight" when asked if I was with the rest of you.

The one trick I did bombed as I was doing it to the kind of cynical sod who just has to state the obvious and point to the hand the coin is in purely because it's not in the other. That said, other than some productions hampered by sweaty fingers (nerves) I think it went quite well and she had no comment whatsoever about the penultimate and final vanishes - which I was happy about. :p

It was nice to meet you all and kinda inspiring too... Bob, I've been sat here trying to figure out the through-the-card thing you showed me and while it's not smooth yet, I think I've got it.
Thanks to everyone that made me feel welcome and for all the entertainment and encouragement.

Same time next month? More than likely... if not sooner!
