Which D.L?

Postby reganpip » Apr 30th, '10, 22:49

The DL I use most and can do the best is the push off double as learned on crash course 2 at ellusionist but can't help thinking its a little too flourishy. So I'm wanting to add to my arsenal of moves by learning a few different ones. My question is which d.l do you guys (and girls) use most often, which you think is best and last of all why?

cheers......Andy

I use the most basic one that you can find in all learner magic books. If you don't stare they don't see it.

I use one of two, depending on the situation. Either the basic one from RRTCM because it's simple and rock solid, or the ultra flourishy 'Spacewalk', riskier but laymen will never believe it was possible to achieve while controlling cards.
It doesn't really matter which ones you use though, it's all about personal preference. As long as it's smooth, looks effortless and you don't put emphasis on it nobody will ever suspect anything untoward.
Also I tend to mix up my turnovers, apparently this is a no-no but I've never had any problems.

Ditto

misdirection is probably more important then the DL itself
