I'm going with the talking snake theory

makes much more sense and the evidence is overwhelming.

There's this book that was written a long long time ago by pre-bronze age people and therefore more factual

And don't forget, that book was written by God- the actual real god wrote that so it must be true.

of, course, it is the book that says that the book was written by god, so it could be fibbing

Darwin looks suspiciously much like God to me... in fact, I am pretty sure Darwin is God.

"Hey Jesus, I bet I can make a those people believe they are descendants from monkeys."
"Naah, Dad, don't push your luck, no one is that stupid!"
"Anyway, I'm going down there to give it a try."
"Okay, but be careful... remember what the Romans did to me when I was there? Or those four guys from NY who locked up the Holy Ghost?"
"Don't worry, I will disguise myself using groundbreaking deception-technology we recently discovered during a raid at Satan's secret lair at the North Pole. Behold!"
"What? A beard? A white beard? But you already have a white beard, Dad!"
"Yes, I know; and so it will be the last thing they expect. The element of surprise, Son, the element of surprise... surprise and fear, fear and surprise..."
"Yeah, whatever..."

All this blasphemy is making the Flying Spaghetti Monster VERY ANGRY and ye shall feel the power of his noodly wrath and know that He is THY LORD!

Or something.

meh..take comfort in believing what you want...life's too short...

organized religion - those mouthpieces, i have a problem with those types...but yer everyday folk that believe in whatever religion they fancy, not my problem, as long as it doesn't interfere with me or my life - have at it...

chocolate teapots - go for it...

take comfort in what you want, booze, drugs, music, lady-boys, do as thou whilt shall be the whole of the law...

maybe it was a mixture of both? maybe this god thing, may not be bound by any of these man created rules...and may not be represented by any religion..

maybe he was a cosmic gardener, caused the big bang, and we all evolved from that one moment?

people think in straight lines and boxes sometimes... there may just be other ways of looking at the same thing, but in a different way and a different light...

but I'm certainly not going to shout and scream at a little old lady who has believed in god all her life, and not really harmed anyone... i dont have the authority...

fundamentalism takes many shapes and forms...beware of that...
