Just posting to say hello. I have recently started to learn magic after having been interested in it for a while. At the moment I'm studying Modern Coin Magic by J.B. Bobo and of course Card College by Roberto Giobbi.

Hello, I too am just starting and I too would recommend royal road to card magic by Jean Hugard & Frederick Braue.
It goes through all of the stuff you need to learn in the early days along with a nice selection of tricks based on those sleights.
