Raven

I agree - you need to wear the "right clothes" for this to be positioned just right, but once you have that down pat the device itself is fantastic. Some mind-blowing effects can be achieved - worth investing in a few of the "extras" if they did not come with your Raven - shim coins, magnetic shells, etc, etc.

i bought a raven second hand but didnt recieve instructions so its been ptretty much trial and error for me but i have to ask.... whats the big black rubber ring for????

a little tip... if you have access to a lathe.. a magnetic shell can be made easily from a £1 coin, use a little magicians wax and stick a piece of "feeler gauge" inside for £1 to 5p transformations

never had the reel raven ... was dubious about buying it after i saw a review "vernets universal pull" was 1/4 of the price and better was the general gist of it

My advice is definitely to stick with the Original Raven. The reel raven only has one advantage - you can set it up quickly. Other than this, it only has disadvantages!

cheers, i think i will have to get hold of the original then, with out going into too much detail as to how it works i got a feeling that the reel raven wasnt man enough for the job
