Well the advantage of doing both is that by the time you have finished reading the person's palm you virtually know all about them since the lines on the hand show everything about the person. You don't have to do any of that "cold reading" rubbish. You don't need to ask any questions or fish for information. You just read the lines according to genuine palmistry lore. By the time you have finished you know all about the person.
You know if they are married or single. Happy or unhappy in love. Healthy or unhealthy. Rich or poor. How many children they have (or haven't). Whether they worry or not. If they are a good cook or not. (no kidding) If they are sceptical or believing. Impulsive or cautious. If they are stubborn or easy going.
And you can do this without asking a single question. Try all that with some of the garbage written on this subject for magicians by people who have never done a paid reading in their lives.
No need for cold reading, stock lines, body language study, NLP or any other codswallop.
Now once you have all that information all you have to do is read the tarot cards and it all becomes clear. The cards do the work for you if you are halfway sensitive and intuitive.
It really is a powerful combination of divination systems. When I do longer readings of 30 minutes or an hour I generally use the I Ching too just after I read the palm and before I read the Tarot. It is only a 5 minute interval but it is wonderfully powerful.
All will be revealed in person at my psychic seminar for International Magic.
