poor old deck...

I suppose what's difficult is once you've used the ID for a trick, you can't really use it for 'Insurance'. You'd get spectators saying things like "You've done that one before but with none of that previous set up..."

I just use a stripper deck and make sure the card chosen is reversed. If I do accidentally lose it a cut or two will give me complete control again. It also saves you when a spectator insists on shuffling (or in many cases asks as a joke, and you hand it over happily).

I have three of them now. Two of them seem so loose that the cards all separate when I'm just spreading through, no matter how much pressure I seem to apply. On ym other deck I seem to need to use pliers to get the cards to separate at all!

The problem I get is while I'm fanning the cards a random card will slip out when its not supposed to. Not too many but just one is enough to completely ruin the effect so I find the deck too unreliable to use. until I can find a way of eleviating the problem.
