Just got back home after the Reading show. It's the first time I've seen Pete Firman and I thought he was fantastic. A great mix of gags and tricks to keep you entertained, the time just flew by. He gave sharp shrift to a few tw*ts in the crowd, with some nice ad-libbing. Especially loved the paint-ball catch and needle swallowing routines. Terrific fun. Met him after the show too.

Yep, a great night out. A small crowd (around 120) but it was an enjoyable gig. What about that heckling geezer though? Unfortunately I was sat next to him for the first half You can always tell the quality of an entertainer by the way they deal with the hecklers though and you're right PP, he handled him well.

The magic was mainly pretty old school stuff but that didn't matter in the context of the show. The silk through microphone stand was good fun and the needle swallowing was done really well.

Saw his show on Wednesday in Leicester - the crowd was tiny - probably about 50 people. But he still put on an excellent show. Great energy and a brilliant stage persona, wonderful one-liners and 'joke tricks'. My wife thought it was brilliant even though she nearly ruined his 'egg in a bag' trick' by mistake =D

Pete is a fantastic guy and a brilliant performer. I saw him at the Festival of Light in Liverpool a few months back. His show was absolutely amazing! And he's such a humble person in real life. I asked one of the stewards if he would come out and speak to me after his busy and very energetic show and he did! Can't say much more than he is a brilliant magician and showman, and I certainly hope there are more people out there like him!
