The bat

Postby spooneythegoon » Nov 26th, '10, 19:47

I am looking at buying the bat(http://www.emagictricks.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=481), but there are a few things I'd like to know about it to make sure it's practical. How strong is it? Would it
move a coin through an averagely sized table? What options for positioning are available? And can it stay in position for a long time, for example if I set it up on my leg (if it can be set up on the leg), could it stay in position all day without falling or coming loose etc? Can anyone help?
Thanks

The velcro might ladder your stockings if you're not careful.

Top Tip:
Don't wear ladies underwear for this trick.

Hmmm .... I used to use the bat aaaaages ago.
From what I remember, it's quite powerful - it would move a coin through a standard pub table - about 1" thick.
You can clip this to your belt to perform the linking/spinning rings and it'll stay there all day, or you can strap it to your leg to move an object on a table etc.
You'll have to make your own strapping - but it should stay there for quite a while - you just need to adapt it to fit nice and snug.
I forgot about this lil' beauty - I think I'm gonna have to dig it outta my drawers for tonight's visit to the pub  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I second What Moonbeam says. The Strapping I used was a couple of Black elastic Garters. I must admit I got bored with the bat after a while and currently it is in use for keeping my Back Gate open, having glued a Magnet on the Gate and the Bat on a wall! Saved going out and buying a new hook and latch. The gate stays in position even in the strongest of winds.... [/quote]
