Oh gosh, I have to actually do proper actual research to see if I'm right?

Lots of magicians will rush to buy the new effect.

In March another magician will claim the effect has been stolen from them.

Yet another magician will remind everyone that the effect first appeared in a book in 1891.

In July the DVD explanation of the new effect will appear on YouTube.

By August sales of the new effect will tail off.

Someone else will then adapt the effect using different props and prepare it for release in 2011 2012 as the next big thing.

There will be no cure for C.U.P.S. in 2010 2011.

You could throw him off the scent by making some magic-related posts and avoiding the most obviously controversial threads (about psychic abilities etc). ;)

And I predict you do. In 2011.

1. Bad weather will cause great disruptions. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... night.html
2. A Conservative MP will get into trouble in April or possibly early May, either with prostitutes or drugs. http://www.faceoff.com/hockey/teams/mon ... story.html
3. Prince Philip will have a health scare, the outcome of which remains clouded to me. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -bolt.html
4. Hocus Pocus will have a sale. Too many to link to...
