A television show that's been rigged by producers to make it more entertaining? How outrageous!!
Next they'll be shocking us with rumours claiming the Pope is Catholic.

Two years running I was put under intense pressure to appear on an Irish version of one of those talent shows. Both years I manfully resisted the call of fame. I told them I had too much pride in my work to be the butt of their joke. I have no regrets, having seen the way they treat the acts.

When I was younger and greener I did agree to appear on one of those type of shows. I ate a lightbulb, because it was what they wanted. It opened no doors for me (apart from the A&E).

Anyone who doesn't realise how fixed those programmes are is too innocent for this world.

We knew this though did we not?

After all the Pendragons appeared on AGT and I remember someone saying then that they head hunt established acts to audition.

Poor journalism, old news. :P:D

It's not poor journalism. It is only old news to those of us in the business. To everyone else this is news. Presumably the reason that it was published now is that they are auditioning now - so what better time for the article?

The winners are probably going to be singers or dancers so what's the point in any other type of performer participating?

This actually only seems to be the case in the U.K.

In other parts of the world many spesh acts have actually got through & WON!

Maybe when Simon Cowell eventually leaves the show as a judge. things will change. It is indeed rumoured that he wants to leave............

Then it'll be a case of "Let The Magic Begin" (Maybe!!).

We have David Hassellhoff and Michael McIntyre on this year, so it looks quite promising!
