This is a really nice effect where you pull a card through a window infront of the spectator. Its a really cool trick and requires a small amount of sleight of hand. If you have a lot of windows around where you preform i would say get this but you might just be able to work it out if you watch the video.

If you can work a trick out from watching the video then it's a rather weak trick in most people book.

In the case of Ellusionist where they can choose the best camera angles to film from and it's performed by someone with a supposedly decent level of skill, it should make you think twice about this effect if you can still work it out from the video.

If you're looking for a CTW effect at a reasonable price then Dave Forrest's CTW is a much better choice in my opinion but it does need some setup.

I wouldn't say its weak. In fact if you know alot about magic and basic handeling you can usually preform alot of stuff with out any books or videos just simply watching a person do it gives people many ideas on how to reproduce it with enough knowledge. Look at 13 steps the book is great but having the video version shows you 100% how to do it properly vs a book with a few examples and a paragraph describing it.

The book vs dvd debate is an on-going one. Of course its all down to personal preference, but...I'm sure some people will argue their case here.

Of course having a visual impression of what you need to do is helpful, but you tend to get more bang for your buck with books.
