Cant remember the Name of a paddle trick HELP!!

Postby mac » Mar 1st, '11, 22:49

Dont know if anyone can help? One of the quicky tricks i used to use on walk around or table hopping, was a paddle trick where a diamond/gem appeared at the end then another at the other end, the gems where then magically slid along the rod and back again. Then two gems were pushed together and ended up next to each other. The rod could then be handed out for inspection.

I think i must have left it at a table. I didnt think much of it at the time but i would like to get hold of anther one.

Does anyone know what it is called or who sells it if its still available?

I got the original at a convention years ago.

any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

ah.. it's called the Jumping Gem.

it and variations of it have been produced by a number of people over the years, under quite a few names.

I had the Tenyo version. Still do as a matter of fact, its somewhere here in its little Faux Suede pbag.

As Dale says, there are loads of different versions/knock-offs of this. Midwest Magic has a great range of paddle tricks. Have a look at Slippery Rocks on page 4, which looks like a nice version.
