Many moons ago, well before the invention of the internet, videos, DVDs, TV or even the widespread use of the telephone, magic was shared and taught by postal correspondence course - The Tarbell Course is one example of how it used to be. Before anyone decides to call that idea old fashioned, let’s be very clear that without such activities, magic would probably not have spread and survived quite so well! It’s on that back of the dinosaur method that the current huge market for magic rests.
If you are in a remote area, my best suggestion is that if you have a local library, go pester them to order or borrow all the magic tuition books they can get hold of. You might also enquire there if they know of any other magicians around who might be able to either help or perhaps join in your studies. Due to your age and the ever present concerns these days, such meetings and tuition really has to be on neutral territory where you are not isolated with the other person. Are there any facilities at school which can be used? Have you asked if any of the teachers have an interest in magic or at least in hosting a magic meet?
If things work out you might even be founding your own local magic society – best of luck!
