On this day in 1964 I was born in a convent, delivered by the Sisters of Mercy (sadly not the Goth band but the actual nuns). After being born I was taken away by the nuns and my mother did not see me again for 3 days.

My Anglo-Indian family was recently returned to the mother country after the fall of the British Raj, my forefathers being an integral part of the Empire's crown jewel.

There's no wonder I turned out weird.

May I also point out that being 47 years old is ridiculous. I don't feel 47. I feel 27. There has obviously been a mistake.

yeah, sorry about that.
It is my birthday though so you now all owe me a pint! PM me for my postal address for these.

On a side note this does mean it's about 2 weeks until I have my hair cut.
