I just picked up 50 black (well, brownish purple) tea lights from Paperchase for £3.75. I even managed to get out without buying a notebook, too.

Ryman's are doing a BOGOF on their soft sketchbook range. These are nice-looking sketching journals complete with Ryman branding (innocence!), an elasticated band keeping the book closed(control!), and a black ribbon placemarker(utility!). I got 2 A6 ones for £3.49.

L&L Publishing are repeating their "buy one, get one free" offer on DVDs (with a few exceptions). Add the password MAY MADNESS to the comments section when ordering, or quote it if ordering by phone.

The offer isn't listed on their website, and if you place an order it won't show up on the checkout total -- the deduction will be made by hand later, assuming you've remembered to quote the password!

Sign up for their newsletter to get the e-mail with the whole list of DVDs available, which is far too long to repeat here. Basically it's any L&L-produced DVD single or set, except for the newest ones (Multiplicity, Nothing But the Best, or the three new World's Greatest Magic).

When they did this last year, I filled my boots and never regretted it. I may well do the same again.

Just found a David Blaine DVD (includes "Street Magic" and "Magic Man") for £1 in The Works.

Thought others might want to check their local store in case.

Magictricks.co.uk is having a clearance sale with some deep reductions.

Things are going fast -- I ordered on Monday, received the goodies yesterday, and one of the DVDs in my hot little hands is no longer on the list.

Toys R Us has Marvins freaky eye ball set half price for £7. Not bad for a set of multiplying balls, a mini zombie ball, a variety of box and tube effects. A bit naff, but at £7 value for money. I'm going to be using the zombie eye to demonstrate to remind my class that they need to be looking at my ugly mug.
