The gadget show did a feature on this, they priced up how much they'd get from those high street stores that buy old stuff off you and sold stuff on ebay, and it seemed that they got most money from selling on ebay

So I've not tried it myself, but that might be the best route

Canterbury Travel near London bought a pile of vintage stuff to stock Santa's workshop in Lapland. I think they got most of the stuff in Spain.
