Electric touch question

Postby jwardmagic » Apr 16th, '11, 00:45

I was wondering, with the effect 'electric touch' can you control when exactly the shock happens? Also, can it be done with any finger? Or possible the hand instead?

I'm curious, in your other thread you state that you have brought this. Surely these questions are answered by either a) trying it out, or b) reading the instructions?

Well it wasn't the propper electric touch device I purchased. A friend made his own (with a few changes) and had it attached in some shoes which I also bought from him. I do not like the setup he made though so am considering purchasing the actualy yigel mesika version.

I suggest you stop using it immediately before you do yourself some serious harm. Electricity is f*cking dangerous (even a few volts can kill) and unless you know what you're doing isn't something you play around with

First volts are pretty safe its the amps that will get you. If your friend tried to increase the strength of the device then he would have to increase its push(amps) and you could find yourself in the troubles. Secondly if you want to use it buy the orignal. Buying a copy is the same in my opinion as stealing. If you love magic support it and the creators.

Go for it, give it a try. Just don't ask me for sympathy if the fruits of your friends labours harm you in any way.

Just out of interest:
    < 5mA = a jolt
    5mA = a strong jolt
    5mA - 30mA = a serious electric shock
    > 50mA = possibly fatal
    > 100mA = deadly

I think he may have meant what power does ET produce. To see where it is on your scale.

Hi,

I seem to be be behind the times having just purchased this but I understand there is a way to set it up that's better than the suggestions on the instruction DVD called 'PETS' - this is mentioned on old topics but can anyone help me?

Thanks
