Paul Carnazzo's card lexicology and Paul Brook's Juxtapose are in my outlaw wallet that i use as my everyday wallet. I am always ready to do something if needed.

The method is fairly obvious and I can see why people dislike it. It also doesn't really achieve much more than could be done with a billet or swami routine. I've kept it in there though as an extra if I get asked for something later. As a stand alone effect it wouldn't be my choice of effect. Paul Carnazzo's cards would be better options.

Thanks. Sounds like fair comment to me.

I really like this, it's compact and all tells the same story. Looks like you've got a really good act together here. Thanks for sharing the pics!

I have to say when I started performing mentalism I found 13 Steps heavy and dull (also difficult to read for a dyslexic :P) but now I perform my own versions of routines from there all the time. "The Missing Link" on page 219 always gets great reactions for stage and I've adapted it to work with close up very easily.

I would also recomend Banachek's Psi Series DVDs for a beginner in mentalism. The things he teachers are fairly direct but do involve business cards etc. However, I've never had problems with this detracting from the overall effect

Right so I will reply in a few messages however the most frequent recontamination is switch craft. This sounds really good and I would like to get it however there doesn't appear to be anywhere that I can find it in the UK... irritating.

Thank you Jobasha those pictures were helpful and it is a very good way of making your props feel natural.

BrucUK this is exactly what I'm looking for something that can be used a lot for different effects and good presentations. I am getting 'Get Nyman' soon and hopefully switch craft if i can find it.

I have an infinity wallet the peek is very bold in it and I have been caught before... so that kinda sucks and has put me off doing it for a wile but it probably shouldn't.

Aha yes Banachek I was waiting for him to be mentioned. I do want his first DVD in the PSI series because some of that looks like it can be used for close up but i would prefer bob cassidy's DVD and apply some of that to close up.

Psypher looks really good. My friend has it so I know how effective it is it's just a fair amount of money. Looks like I've got a lot to buy.

I would like to do some cold reading in the context of a trick so I think maybe having some stock cold reading scripts might be good if anyone knows any good ones. Thanks for all your help guys

It's in PDF form and appears in your email. You can buy it from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection and either PayPal and/or a credit card :)

You might also want a look at Docc Hilford's "Monster Mentalism" DVDs. They're a fantastic demonstration of how the classics -- mostly quite simple -- still work in practice. Also how basic tricks can be dressed up to suit your own style.

The third one of the series ("Bride of Monster Mentalism") is worth getting purely for the masterclass in equivoque that it contains.
