I've never had a problem with the mark it leaves, nobody ever notices it. And as you say, I think I get the problem more when I don't quite get it in right (I assume the more you use it the better you get at bending it the 'right way')

I use the routine that comes on the DVD... when they have an impossibly bent coin in their hand, they tend to ignore the other one :p

No one has ever noticed the marks left (except magicians as David told me at Blackpoola couple of years ago). I honestly think the bent part of the gimmick is upside down to where it should be (unless you bend the opposite direction).

But the tape is a good idea if you're really that bothered about it.

Could someone let me know if a penny bend is possible and if so with how much ease?

Cheers people

The recent run of Coinvexed gimmicks has been modified so it will take the thicker euro coins without any issues

You can fit any size euro into it but The Hulk would struggle to bend anything over a 20 cent casually.I stick to bending 5 cents and ten cents. They bend with ease like butter.

I very rarely add new effects to my repitoire but I can see this being as much a staple as any of my card effect. It is so practical and rediculously easy to get away with. The built in misdirection is rediculous.Poor spectators, how are they ever suppose to figure this out

I can bend 50 cent coins OK, I have been doing this for a while now though, while they are a little harder to do they will bend with practice. You will also find certain coins of the same denomination harder to do than others as over the years they've changed the metals used.

Some coins will bend like butter, while others you will need to give it some 'wellie' :-)
