Hi Guys. Ive seen this product 'The Lean 2 ' basically you can lean at 45 degrees and more

I just wanted to know if I can get this in the UK and does it require alot of set up. I know that its a specially made pair of shoes (as stated on china magic website)

If im wearing the shoes can this be done anywhere anytime? ie on carpets, wooden floor? I need to know if the spectators can inspect all around you aswell.

I only know one method of doing this and it needs a little setup on location before hand.

This product may be different but I can't see how it would work around the need for setup before hand, it's a stage effect as I know it.

Additionally, if it is related to the method I know (and given that it's contained in shoes suggests that it is) you'd better have strong ankles and not weigh too much. By that I mean the more dangerously underweight you are the better. If you're too heavy, the method I know will dislocate your entire foot...

A reputable magic retailer would have answered all those questions already. They do so because generally the cost of performing this properly (that means without the aid/use of a cheap and nasty knockoff from china) is far too big of an investment for people to make without fully knowing what they are getting themselves involved with, and the retailers prefer not to have to deal with peopl coming back to them saying "I'm not all that happy with his, it's not what I thought it was" ertc

I think this is the same with most stuff on that site ... they claim to sell a certain trick (no links, cos its pointless to advertise) which is £3k+ for about £200.
Having seen the official version up close and seen it in use several times, and (even when I know how it works) STILL not be able to figure it out, I would happily pay £3k for it ... I'd be VERY worried about paying £200 for a "genuine" version from china - I'm sure to a lay person, it'd be great, but I'd want to fully licensed, magician fooling, high quality (and with warranty) version

Cute piece, I thought you were talking about the old Vaudeville gag that Doug Malloy had revamped.

I do remember seeing Cyril (I think it was) using this piece in a video, out in a park. It's quite clever.

I was told that Michael Jackson used it in the Thriller video.

The chap who is being aired on Sky1 on Thursday night uses them in his street ac.t

I wonder how much they costs?

In the video they used harnesses and ropes, though for real life performances they created the patented shoes.

These shoes, to my knowledge, use a different method to Doug Malloy's, though don't quote me on that!
